A real estate development firm, Meritabode Nigeria Limited has unveiled a mixed-use development known as Emerald Haven in the Lekki-Epe corridor of Lagos State.
The development, a smart and sustainably planned estate spanning 25 acres, features 150 plots, with 100 plots open for immediate development. Inspired by the modern elegance of the Dubai waterfront, the estate offers seamless accessibility and strong investment potential.
Speaking at a press briefing, CEO Meritabode, Oludotun Oseni, said the project is a direct response to the growing demand for well-structured, and inclusive communities in Lagos. “It’s a bridge between the rich and the poor, designed to accommodate everyone. It will be a well-zoned, self-sustaining city within a city,” Oseni said.
He noted that the estate will include residential, commercial, creative, and investment-driven zones, allowing buyers to build or resell units, and providing an opportunity for both lifestyle and financial returns. The development is designed to foster a ‘live-work-play’ ecosystem, where residents can access key services and leisure without leaving the estate.
It will also feature essential infrastructure and lifestyle facilities including recreational centres, places of worship, banking halls, green parks, and health-conscious spaces, all delivered under the estate’s theme: Smart Living, Sustainable Design.
Oseni also highlighted the estate’s proximity to major infrastructure projects such as the Lagos International Airport, Dangote Refinery, Lekki Free Trade Zone, and the proposed Fourth Mainland Bridge, all of which are expected to significantly boost the area’s appeal and long-term value.
“The estate will have a gated entrance, round-the-clock security personnel, CCTV surveillance, perimeter fencing, and smart home technologies including high-speed internet making it a truly future-ready community. This estate is being built for the discerning few who want more than just a place to live in,” he said.
At the pre-launch event, veteran Nollywood actor and Meritabode brand ambassador, Jide Kosoko, affirmed the company’s integrity and development track record. “This is not just another estate; it’s a prime investment opportunity,” he said.
Head of Operations, Roseline Duruaku, emphasised the company’s commitment to visionary development. “Development must be intentional. We are building for the future with sustainability, functionality, and beauty in mind,” she said.
Sales Manager at Meritabode, Victor Igbenoba, explained the estate is designed to meet the needs of both owner-occupiers and investors, especially those in the diaspora looking for secure and high-value real estate.
“It’s perfect for individuals seeking a peaceful home, and for investors focused on capital appreciation. It’s timely, strategic, and built to meet current market demands,” he said.
